agile method

A method of executing projects (typically, but not restricted to software) that reduces the cost of change and allows the customers of the softwar more control over how much they spend and what they get for it. Agile methods include eXtreme Programming, SCRUM, Feature Driven Development (FDD), Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM) and many others. A core practice of most agile methods is the use of automated unit tests.
